As you must have heard Israel was swept with a wave of fires last week, when the winds were unusually strong. Many of the fires were started by arsons, some for anti-Israel reasons. One of the communities greatly damaged was Neve Tzuf, in the east part of Binyamin.
On Tuesday, the students of our Ma'ale Efraim branch went out to help those hurt by the big fire that burned and damaged many homes in the village Neve Tzuf. One group of our students worked long hours helping families whose homes were damaged, to salvage whatever could be saved and to prepare the way to rebuilding their homes. Another group assisted in cutting down burnt trees and hauling them away from the village. The residents happily accepted the assistance and thanked the students for their volunteering for the work.
