Major Klein inspired all who knew him by his self-sacrificing dedication to Torah-study, broad educational horizons, and commitment to public leadership, both in his military and civilian life. The Chai Roi program is designed to cultivate idealistic leadership for Israel’s public sector who will be qualified to address the major challenges facing Israel today. The program combines academic studies, Torah-learning, and specialized leadership training courses. The students receive a full university tuition scholarship in addition to a living stipend.
